Since 1883, Hayashibara has been developing and manufacturing original functional materials using the power of microorganisms and enzymes. We have developed various functional glycosides and polysaccharides as cosmetic ingredients and most of our products have a high natural index. Our sustainable manufacturing has continued for more than half a century and various social and economic efforts has led to a gold rating in the sustainability survey in 2022 by EcoVadis, an international evaluation agency in France.

Lissenare is a quality haircare ingredient with a natural index of 1.0.
AA2G is an anti-aging ingredient that supplies Vitamin-C continuously and has been used worldwide for a long time. GN（Glucosyl Naringin）is another anti-aging product made by upcycled ingredients.

These unique ingredients are formulation-friendly and are suitable for a wide variety of cosmetic products. At IFSCC2022, in addition to these three products we will exhibit our sustainable ingredients including recently launched new materials for skincare and haircare.
